The scholarship is awarded by PS Provider and consists of SEK 10,000, shared between the two winners of the year.

Henrik Bengtsson & Sara Johansson

This year’s award for Best Thesis in Informatics goes to a study focusing on a group in society that is not always highlighted in discussions about digitalization. Through a qualitative interview study, the authors have developed an in-depth understanding of the respondents’ subjective experiences of using various services, leading to important design implications. These implications are crucial to ensuring that future visions do not exclude anyone and thereby promote a more inclusive society. The thesis is therefore not only relevant to a specific field, but also to society as a whole by contributing to social sustainability and inclusion.
